With 25 years of HR management experience in staffing, recruiting, training and development, employee relations, compensation, benefits and safety in the manufacturing, healthcare and aviation industries, I am passionate about learning and advancing the profession. Through the years I've held leadership positions at my local SHRM-affiliated chapter ranging from President to board member at large, and I've also served my community by participating on advisory boards for colleges and universities.


My diverse HR background and SHRM-CP certification, coupled with first-hand experience as a staffing customer, gives me an insider's perspective on the workforce management and hiring challenges my clients face.


The Big Picture:

I've always wanted to start my own business. My parents owned a hotel, so I grew up learning the importance of providing high quality services, working hard and being accountable.


When I was evaluating franchise opportunities, I realized that owning a staffing and recruiting agency would allow me to combine my leadership skills and passion for HR with my desire to make a difference in my community. I chose PrideStaff because of their excellent reputation, culture, owner accessibility and unparalleled support.


Our goal is to be more than a staffing "vendor"; we want to be a valuable partner and resource that provides education, useful information and staffing expertise to our clients.  We pursue this goal by living out PrideStaff’s mission statement, “Consistently provide clients experiences focused on what they value most,” every day.


The Scoop on Staffing:

Having sat on the other side of the staffing "table," I know what it takes to be successful. You need to get out from behind your desk and go to the client's site. You must find out about their culture, uncover what's most important to them, and learn what makes a candidate successful in a role.


By truly understanding clients' needs, and holding both our candidates and ourselves to the highest standards, we create meaningful employment connections that deliver great results.

My secrets to success are simple:

  • Have a challenging spirit.
  • Continue to learn new things; training never ends.
  • Have passion about what you do.
  • Work hard and have goals, but take the time to enjoy life.
  • Take care of your wellbeing and those who surround you.
  • Be accountable for your actions.

Stress Relief:

Spending time with family is a priority for me, but I love creating art, too. I started out taking water-color classes years ago, and since then I've transitioned to oil painting. For over a decade, I've met regularly with two friends to paint and just appreciate one another's company.


I also enjoy spending time in nature (particularly in the mountains), as well as volunteering for causes that are close to my heart.
