Job Description

Pridestaff, a national staffing company, is seeking Entry Level Administrative Assistants to support a wide variety of Administrative functions.  We are recruiting hardworking, self-motivated, dependable individuals who take the initiative, have a positive attitude and possess strong organizational skills.

 

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative clerical functions to include; answering / routing phone calls, greeting clients / associates, managing calendars, providing information, processing inbound / outbound mail and general filing / clerical duties.  Also, you will be responsible for composing memos, data entry, transcribing notes, researching companines and creating presentations.  Additional responsibilities for Entry Level Administrative Assistants may be as follows:

  • Providing front desk / receptionist support
  • Providing customer service and issue resolution
  • Processing orders, payroll, invoices and expense reports
  • Providing support for multiple projects, teams and team members
  • Generating reports with MS office applications ( Word / Excel / Powerpoint ) 

As an Administrative Assistant, must have at least 6 months of professional experience in a similar role and preferably 1-3 years of relevant administrative / clerical experience in very fast-paced work environments.  You must have strong computer / phone skills and enjoy interacting / communicating with clients / associates in-person and on the phone. We are looking for individuals with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills that want to continue to learn / grow / develop themselves professionally.  Additional requirements for Entry Level Administrative Assistants are as follows:
 

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High School Degree ( REQUIRED ), 2 Year College Degree ( PREFERRED ) 
  • Proficient with 2007 or later MS office applications ( Word / Excel / Powerpoint )
  • General knowledge of common concepts / practices / procedures within a particular field 
Openings are available for 1st shift (8 AM-5 PM / Mon-Fri).  Must have shift flexibility and can work OT as needed.
 
Pay is $10.00-14.00 per hour
