Dispatcher

 

There will be several weeks of training on various shifts (7a. – 3p. and/or 3p.– 11p.) before transitioning to the actual work schedule listed below:

 

Sunday -

Off

Monday -

Off

Tuesday -

Off

Wednesday-

2p. - 12a.

Thursday -

2p. - 12a.

Friday -

10p. - 8a.

Saturday -

10p. - 8a.

 

Due to the nature of this position,you may also need to report 4 hours prior to their start of their shift, or stay an additional 4 hours, if they experience a callout on another shift.

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • One year experience in a call center, customer service or dispatch environment.

 

All candidates must meet the minimum qualifications stated above, and:

  • Ability to interpret and apply standard operating procedures, technical information, regulation and laws;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Ability to read distribution, transmission and road maps;
  • Working knowledge for Microsoft office products – Word, Excel, Access and Outlook;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate in a clear, concise & professional manner with all customers;
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment;
  • Good problem solving skills.

 

This position typically works alone for 80%+ of the work shift; the work hours include a paid lunch break since they are unable to leave the premises.  Candidates submitted for this position should be dependable, prompt, and able to communicate effectively with fellow employees and customers (primarily on phone).
