Job Description

PrideStaff has immediate position for a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE for an established manufacturing company in North County.

 DUTIES:

  • Customer focused on assigned customer accounts, concerns and problem resolution.
  • Communicate delivery status to customers through appropriate customer defined methods.
  • Request, charge and track expedites as required.
  • Be knowledgeable of your customer’s products and services.
  • Liaison between customers and plant personnel to facilitate flow of materials, tooling, paperwork, etc., in and between work centers to strive for 100% on-time delivery.
  • Status delinquencies, know where they are within the plant and the projected delivery date.
  • Manage and coordinate short flow, priority requirements, negotiating due dates when on-time delivery is in jeopardy.
  • Identify potential problems, analyze and propose alternatives for resolution for any issues that may jeopardize on-time delivery.
  • Maneuver and actively work customer websites/reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good understanding of JIT and Lean Manufacturing techniques and philosophies.
  • Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to develop win-win relationships with customers.
  • Understanding of process flows, lead-times and lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
