Job Description

PrideStaff has is seeking a DOCUMENT CONTROL CLERK for a North County Manufacturer.

Temporary to hire!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer engineering change requisition, approval and order process
  • Formatting, typing and editing of controlled documents
  • Maintaining and keeping current engineering drawings files and customer drawing library
  • Update logs, databases and catalogues as required
  • Create and update all functionally relevant controlled documents as needed
  • Support all internal department requirements specific to change control approval and documentation procedures
  • Serve in an advisory role to other departments in obtaining specifications and documentation
  • Observe for non-compliance of Quality Management System throughout all applicable areas and functions and ensure compliance when observed
  • Must have a strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Expert knowledge of MS Word and MS Access
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • Electronic Document Management System a plus

Experience/Skills

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • BA preferred or combination education and experience
  • 3 years’ configuration management/documentation experience required or 5 years of relevant work experience
  • 1-year experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) preferred
  • Expert knowledge of MS Word and MS Access
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • Electronic Document Management System a plus
