Well-established manufacturer located in Garden City, NY seeks an experienced Business to Business Customer Service Rep/Order Processing Specialist.
You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customers’ orders
- Quickly and efficiently process orders via company’s ERP system
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to management
- Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- Assist with high priority requests or issue escalations as needed
Requirements (must have these to be considered for this position):
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an import/export and/or distribution business
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a business to business customer service rep
- Order entry experience
- Friendly and personable
- ERP and MS Office Suite experience
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
This is a direct hire position with benefits (medical, dental, 401K, etc.)
Hours: Mon – Fri 9:00/9:30 a.m. – 5:00/5:30 p.m.
