PrideStaff is conducting a search for a Staff Accountant for a construction/development client located in Golden, CO.  The client is growing and looking to add to their finance team.

 

Job Duties:

• Job costing including reporting
• Construction loan draw processing
• Payroll processing
• Reporting including quarterly financial statements, monthly cash flow, internal and external reports
• Prepares monthly general ledger
• Provides accounting assistance in 1099 preparation, budgeting and credit applications
• Supervises accounts payable
• Prepares sales and use tax returns
• Prepares regular bank deposits
• Maintains depreciation schedules

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in accounting and 2 years of related experience or 5-7 years of related experience
• Strong communication skills
• Strong computer skills, Timberline experience is a plus
• Comfortable and accomplished at making presentations
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Willing to work long hours and committed to achieving goals
• Able to work with a sense of urgency
