David Grewcock, Owner/Strategic-Partner
Effective staffing and hiring practices directly impact company performance.
Throughout my 30+ year career in customer-facing and executive management positions in the life sciences industry, I've had the opportunity to work with great people. Managing teams, personnel changes and developing talent are all very difficult but essential to the success of a business. I have been lucky enough to gain depth of experience while working at a few high-quality companies; large and small.
Recruiting, assessing and matching people with the right positions are critical skills – and having the right people on your team can make a big difference. I'm energized, as a PrideStaff Strategic-Partner, to make a positive impact on local businesses and workers throughout our community.
The Big Picture:
Staffing and placement firms meet critical business needs in the greater Morristown area. Employers use staffing to quickly respond to changes in the marketplace or seasonal demands. In addition to filling short-term needs, more organizations are relying on contingent staff as a permanent part of their workforce to control costs, mitigate risks, increase efficiency and create a candidate pool to build their core team.
Our industry is full of reputable firms and experienced professionals who do a good job serving customers. Over the past 40 years, PrideStaff has built a standout service model that creates tremendous value for employers and job seekers – and makes us a leader in Net Promoter Score (NPS) results, which measure quality of service.
In fact, PrideStaff is the only nationwide, commercial staffing firm in the U.S. and Canada with over $100 million in annual revenue to earn Inavero’s prestigious Best of Staffing Diamond Award five years in a row for exceptional client and talent service quality.
The Scoop on Staffing:
Combining the resources of a large, national staffing firm with the enthusiasm and personal service that comes from local ownership, PrideStaff's model allows us to develop long-term, value-based relationships with both our clients and the staff we place. We do this by living out PrideStaff's mission to “Consistently provide client experiences focused on what they value most.”
Our team values each opportunity to partner with local business owners and hiring managers, to develop solutions that best support their needs. We leverage our strategic decision-making, problem-solving and counseling experience to help clients achieve their organizational goals.
Job seekers turn to us for many reasons. Some value the flexibility and skill-building benefits of temporary work; others rely on us to help them re-enter the workforce; still others seek direct positions with our clients. Our recruiters meet personally with each candidate to understand their skills, interests, wants and needs, and then work proactively to help them achieve their career goals.
Secrets to Success:
Building and maintaining strong personal and professional relationships is rewarding for me. I care about doing quality work, and a competitive spirit gets me out of bed in the morning.
Personal and professional experiences have taught me to enjoy having fun at work, and also to focus on the critical factors that will make the most impact on the job at hand.
Perhaps most importantly, I believe that “treating others as I’d like to be treated” is the right way to operate.
When I am not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my wife, Jane, our 25-year-old daughter and 23-year-old son, as well as our friends. I also enjoy golfing, road biking, reading, going to concerts, and oddly enough, taking care of my yard.
