Job Description
Our manufacturing client seeks an experienced assembly technician to cut/fabricate, fit, and assemble/install guarding on high-end machinery using sheet metal, aluminum, and Lexan. Responsibilities include reading and following mechanical assembly drawings and schematics, layout drawings, and bills of material; fabricating, aligning, fitting, assembling, and installing guards using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools; supporting company quality and rework standards and expectations; communicating recommendations to modify processes to improve productivity and quality; and understanding and meeting company quality standards and objectives to fulfill customers’ requirements. Must have 1-2 years of mechanical assembly or carpentry experience, experience working with Lexan or similar plastics, and strong mechanical aptitude. Sound like a fit?
