Gary Carmichael, Strategic-Partner and C.S.P., launched his professional career with an MBA.  Prior to joining the PrideStaff team, he was a Certified Public Accountant and worked in the manufacturing industry.  His professional experience includes managing all facets of operations, with over 15 years in senior plant management.

Today, Gary is the proud owner of two PrideStaff offices.  He opened the Hattiesburg office in 2006 and then the Gulfport office in 2009. 

Gary has been deeply involved with a number of organizations that have supported his role as a PrideStaff Strategic-Partner.  He served as the VP of Membership and Secretary for his local SHRM chapter, as well as the chair of the Area Development Partnership Ambassadors (where he still serves as an ambassador).  Currently, Gary is a Board Member of the University of Southern Mississippi Alumni Association and was recently appointed the Chair of Economic Development for the Area Development Partnership.

He credits his success in the staffing industry to a range of abilities:  listening to people and identifying their needs; utilizing his knowledge base to develop solutions; using his strong internal drive to help solve problems; and finding and retaining a talented team with these same abilities.  Not surprisingly, Gary has received several PrideStaff President’s Circle Awards over the years for achieving sales goals.
