Requirements include at least 2 years of experience in standard mechanical inspection as a Grade B Inspector or better; basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5; ability to use standard Go/No Go inspection equipment to determine product acceptance; ability to operate single-element gauging under a higher-level inspector’s instruction; experience measuring products made from titanium; ability to use a microscope to detect cosmetic defects; and ability to support PPAPs, facilitate PFMEAs and control plans.
