PrideStaff in Carlsbad has an IMMEDIATE position for a Printed Circuit Board Supervisor.

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!

DUTIES:

  • Will be responsible for all Printed Circuit Assembly operations.
  • Responsible for manpower loading, training, maintaining production schedules and product quality
  • Plans and directs, through subordinates, all assembly activities in order to meet Quality goals and production schedules.
  • Coordinates and resolves conflicts with other departments/areas as well as within the department.
  • Assures that all areas are properly staffed and trained in order to meet department goals.
  • Assures that all SOPs are kept up-to-date in order to reflect all operations/processes.
  • Assures that all assemblers are properly trained in process, products, procedures and safety.
  • Supports Manufacturing Manager as required.
  • Demonstrates lean leadership traits including the ability to optimize processes and efficiencies through root cause analysis and continuous improvement practices.
  • Supports safety programs and keeps workplace clean and safe. Avoids shortcuts that increase the risk of accidents, personal injuries and equipment failures. Makes recommendations when appropriate.
  • Creates an environment that results in a high level of morale and motivation among team members. Takes action to ensure employees fully understand their roles, responsibilities and performance expectations. Provides ongoing feedback, support and developmental opportunities to assist employees in goal attainment. Conducts timely corrective/disciplinary actions that are consistent and well-documented.
  • Develops realistic plans, sets goals and aligns plans with company goals. Breaks down work processes and organizes work accordingly, optimizing all available resources to achieve best results. Able to match the right people and skills to the right task and/or project.
  • Presents ideas effectively and appropriately. Speaks and writes in a clear, concise, credible and respectful manner. Uses good judgment when determining what to communicate, to whom and in what method in order to achieve desired outcomes. Actively listens, encouraging collaboration.

What you need to succeed in this position:

  • Good manufacturing process knowledge.
  • 3-5 years in a Related Field
  • AA Degree (2 years college) - Preferred
