Tod Grice, Owner/Strategic- Partner
A U.S. Army airborne infantry veteran and graduate of Texas Tech University, I've spent most of my professional career working my way up within the staffing industry. Over the past 20 years, I've held roles of increasing responsibility, ranging from staffing account management and recruiting to executive sales and operations management. Most recently, I served as a vice president for a large, niche staffing firm, improving business relationships and processes to deliver better results for our clients as well as our organization.
The Big Picture:
More and more, employers are relying on staffing and recruiting professionals to handle the complex, time-consuming and expensive functions of staffing and hiring. By allowing us to source, screen, interview, vet and refer qualified candidates, we help organizations control expenses and risks, while improving productivity, retention and profitability.
The Scoop on Staffing:
PrideStaff Houston Northwest is uniquely qualified to meet the staffing and employment needs of our community by living out our mission, "Consistently provide client experiences focused on what they value most," every day.
Staffing is inherently a human business, and helping people is the most important and rewarding part of being in this industry. We don't "sell staffing"; we help employers solve business problems and free them to do what they do best. We don't "fill orders"; we get to know job seekers as individuals, and then provide them with opportunities to earn a steady paycheck, build their skills and self-esteem, and advance their careers.
Secrets to Success:
My success is due largely to the way I interact with others. I'm an approachable, fair person who believes in treating people with respect, as well as training and empowering them to do their job well.
I'm also a huge believer in the basics. Developing, honing and relying on solid fundamental skills is a recipe for success in any endeavor, personally or professionally.
Sleep is an important way for me to reset and recharge. I also like to study human beings and what makes them tick, so I read biography, history and self-help books. To keep myself fit, I pursue mixed martial arts training in Muay Thai, kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
