Before opening my PrideStaff office, I worked as a vice president and general manager for General Electric's Healthcare IT division, driving more than $200M in revenue with responsibility for a Business Unit of nearly 400 people. Prior to GE, I worked nine years as a general manager and vice president for Siemens Healthcare IT International Business Unit focused on emerging nations. During my tenure, I helped to develop and launch a profitable business unit in more than 10 countries. During my corporate career I worked in many management and individual contributor roles in; Operations, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing.
My success in all aspects of the value chain, coupled with six years of service in the U.S. Army, has given me the business perspective, problem-solving abilities, and discipline to help others overcome their business challenges.
Over the last years, we have grown to service dozens of clients and have found great jobs for so very many great job seekers. As a US Army veteran, we do work closely with a number of veteran organizations to help soldiers find rewarding career focused positions.

Our business community has a unique, intense energy that's one of the fastest growing in the U.S. Here, people like me are transforming their passions into business opportunities. I chose to be the Owner and Strategic-Partner of the Portland PrideStaff office to put my experience to use, make a difference in our community and to develop a unique work-life balance that can’t be found in most corporate careers.
At PrideStaff, we have the resources and expertise of a large, national firm and the level of service you would expect from a locally owned business. It is only by meeting with clients to gain a clear understanding of the unique nature of their businesses that we can understand what each client values and needs most.
We take a similar approach with our candidates. Talent is the driving force of our business, and we take specific steps to make sure we provide our candidates with the proper support and training needed to be successful. We start with one-on-one personal interviews to determine skills, experience, goals, and interests. During that interview, we discuss what they value most as an employee.

It starts with hard work, focusing on customers' true needs, and a drive to succeed. We are lucky to have a great team as no one can succeed alone. And of course, a modicum of good luck helps, too!
Portland has the ideal culture and lifestyle for my family and me. We enjoy mountain biking, hiking, tennis, and skiing together. I enjoy relaxing with a bit of Bourbon and good craft beer every once in awhile, and with nearly 70 breweries in the Portland area, I think I'm in the right place.
